Sahid Polytechnic held an introduction seminar to the France Double Degree and Apprenticeship Program on Monday (14/04) at the Grand Premiere Hall, Sahid Polytechnic Campus. This program is the result of an international collaboration involving Institut Français Indonésie (IFI), Expertise France Groupe AFD, CFA Institute, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia through the Directorate General of Diktiristek.
This seminar aims to provide students with a thorough understanding of the educational opportunities and industrial internships in France offered through the program. Before the seminar session began, the guests from France were first welcomed to the Sahirman Building to discuss directly with the leadership and the Sahid Polytechnic team.
During the meeting, representatives from partner institutions gave a presentation on the structure of the program, the curriculum that students will follow, as well as the process and duration of education that will be passed if accepted. This discussion is also an important momentum to align the vision and readiness for concrete program implementation.
Sahid Polytechnic also presented Siti Fatimah Kirana Toyib, a Bachelor of Applied Hospitality Management student, who was one of the candidates in the selection process for this program, as a representation of students who are ready to undergo international education.
After the internal meeting, the guests moved to the Grand Premiere Hall to share information directly with students from various study programs. In this session, students were given a full overview of the program's benefits, such as the opportunity to pursue a double degree at a partner institution in France as well as undergoing an apprenticeship that complies with international standards.
Through this seminar, Sahid Polytechnic reaffirmed its role as a vocational institution that is active in encouraging the internationalization of education, opening pathways for students to develop professionally at the global level, and building strong cross-country industrial networks.
