History
Politeknik Sahid didirikan pada 23 Maret 1983 oleh Prof. H. Sukamdani S. Gitosardjono di bawah naungan Yayasan Kesejahteraan, Pendidikan, dan Sosial Sahid Jaya. Sebagai salah satu pelopor pendidikan vokasi pariwisata di Indonesia, Politeknik Sahid terus berinovasi dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bagi seluruh peserta didik. Dengan komitmen kuat untuk menjadi pusat keunggulan, Politeknik Sahid siap mencetak tenaga profesional yang kompeten, berdaya saing tinggi, dan berwawasan internasional.
Sahid Academy of Hospitality and Tourism (APP Sahid)
On March 23, 1983, the Sahid Academy of Hospitality and Tourism (APP Sahid) was officially established based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia and obtained the status of “Registered”.
Sahid College of Tourism (STP Sahid)
On August 23, 2000, the Sahid Tourism Academy was upgraded to the Sahid College of Tourism (STP Sahid) based on a Decree of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia. STP Sahid organizes Diploma I, Diploma III, and Diploma IV (Applied Bachelor) study programs in the fields of Hospitality and Travel Business.
Politeknik Sahid (Poltek Sahid)
In 2019, Sahid College of Tourism officially transformed into Sahid Polytechnic based on a Decree of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. This change marks a commitment to organizing a more structured and industry-based vocational education.
