History

Director: Drs. Soedarwo Hardjomigoeno(1983 – 1988) March 23^rd , 1983 Sahid Academy of Hospitality and Tourism (APP Sahid), based on the decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 0216/O/1986 by obtaining “registered” status.

Drs. Soedarwo Hardjomigoeno (1983 – 1988)

Based on the decree of the Director-General of Higher Education No. 436/D4.III/1988, Sahid Academy of Hospitality and Tourism (APP Sahid) changed its form to Sahid University with a Non-Degree Faculty for Hospitality and Tourism Education.

Drs. I Gde Ardika (1988 – 1991)

January 1^st , 1991, the Non-Degree Faculty was changed back to the Sahid Academy of Hospitality and Tourism (APP Sahid).

Drs. I Wayan Warsa, S.E. (1991 – 1994)

It was changed from Non-Tourism Degree Faculty of Sahid University to Sahid Tourism Academy with the status of “Recognized” for study programs, namely Hospitality and Tourism Business, both Diploma I and Diploma III.

On May 9, 1996, the Sahid Tourism Academy was “Equalized” according to the Decree of the Director-General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture No. 148/DIKTI/Kep/1996.

Since August 23^rd, 2000, the Sahid Tourism Academy increased its level to Sahid Institute of Tourism  based on the Decree of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 166/D/O/2000, for Diploma I, Diploma III, and Diploma IV (Bachelor of Applied Science) study program Hospitality and Travel Business.

Sahid Institute of Tourism changed its form to Sahid Polytechnic based on the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 1022/KPT/1/2018.
